Rocznica Powstania w Getcie Warszawskim

Uczniowie naszej szkoły przez okres 3 tygodni poprzedających organizowane w szkole obchody Rocznicy Powstania w Getcie Warszawskim (16 kwietnia 2019) przygotowywali papierowe żonkile.

Podczas lekcji tematycznych, które zostały przygotowane przez uczniów naszego liceum, uczniowie klas 5 i 6 szkoły podstawowej poznawali różnice w warunkach życia w getcie i poza nim, dowiadywali się, w którym miejscu w Warszawie znajdowało się getto, czytali i analizowali świadectwa osób zamieszkujących warszawskie getto podczas II wojny światowej.

Zwieńczeniem tegorocznej akcji „Żonkile” w naszej szkole był apel, zorganizowany na zewnątrz budynku dla całej społeczności szkolnej, podczas którego czytane były myśli Marka Edelmana, zakończone symboliczną minutą ciszy dla poległych Powstańców w Getcie Warszawskim.

For the period of three weeks preceding the commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (organized on the 16th April 2019) the students of our school have prepared paper daffodils.

During the theme lessons, which were prepared and conducted by our High School students, Years 5 and 6 learned about the different living conditions inside and outside of the Warsaw ghetto walls, they read and analyzed testimonies of people who lived within the ghetto during the Second World War.

The culmination of this year’s Daffodils action at our school was the general assembly, organized outside of the school building for the whole school community; during this assembly students read chosen thoughts of Marek Edelman and commemorated the victims of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising with a symbolic minute of silence.
